About Me
Professor Devin Robinson is a United States Army Airborne Veteran, former network engineer, founder of numerous businesses, former business and economics professor at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, Bellevue University in Lincoln, Nebraska and Southern Crescent Tech in Griffin, Georgia, and author of 12 self-help books. He spent 7 years as a columnist for a Pulitzer prize-winning newspaper.
He has appeared in numerous media outlets to include FOX News, Sirius XM, and the NY Times newspaper, and was a recurring subject matter expert on the nationally syndicated radio. In 2013 he was recognized as one of Best of Atlanta Businesses award by the Atlanta Tribune.
In 2005, he started his own retail business in Atlanta, Georgia and went on to become a highly sought-after retail consultant; building almost 250 locations nationally and internationally over the span of 20 years. As with any successful business leader and employer, he encountered his fair share of challenges, where his multi-million operation was significantly impacted due to system gaps and exploited blind spots in his operations. It spilled out in the media and threatened him losing everything.
Since then, he founded Squibd Technologies, Inc to help close a significant flaw in the employment economy, specifically in recruiting and retention. His advocacy organization, The Employer’s Institute, works with employers to give them the tools and necessary resources to become better employers and avert losses. He consistently mentions, “The lack of technology can cause ruin in businesses.”
Professor Devin has worked with various government agencies from the local, state and federal to assist with business development. He continues to teach and consult with businesses.
